LCD Video Wall: Buyer Selection Guide
LCD video wall selection combines panel seams, array geometry, signal topology and calibration. The 3.5mm reference must be defined as bezel-to-bezel or image gap. Controller capacity, refresh/synchronisation and front-service access require verification for the actual array.
Selection and sample acceptance
Define the site and content first. Verify the reference configuration, test a sample with the intended apps and signals, then confirm model, test conditions and supply scope in writing before ordering.
| Selection criterion | Evidence and acceptance check |
|---|---|
| Seam definition | Specify bezel-to-bezel and visible-image gap separately; test small text and continuous lines at the viewing distance. |
| Calibration | Agree brightness/white-point targets, panel matching, calibration method and replacement-panel procedure. |
| Signal and service | Request source-to-controller-to-panel topology, cable limits, sync test and access drawings. |
Prepare the RFQ
Model/size, quantity, destination, mounting, sunlight/temperature, supply voltage, daily schedule, apps/CMS and OEM requirements.
Request the specification revision, covered models, test conditions and applicable market documents. Reference specifications do not replace final configuration approval; unconfirmed options, power, lifetime and licensing require written verification.
